Crazy Story #1

Once again it's been forever since I've used my blog! I have 3 crazy stories to tell since I've been back but I'm gonna brake it up just to get my post count back up. But real quick: My new laptop is sweet. And once again I've talked to no one from Herndon... whoops. :P I'll try and be more active on FB cause I'll look for any excuse to use the laptop.

Anyways, Jessica and I were in a nearby freshman dorm eating at the cafeteria. We're going down this small hallway to leave and all of a sudden we hear "someone help me!" coming from the bathrooms. So we stopped to see if it was coming from the women or mens room and then we hear "someone! please! help!" from the womens bathroom. Jessica goes in and when the coast is clear I followed. There was some girl laying on the floor holding onto her stomach barely moving and she said "please... get help". So we ran outside to the RA desk and they followed us into the bathroom. One RA is saying "Can you hear me? Put up a finger if you hear me". But there was no answer or response. They called an ambulance and told us to leave. We never saw the girl again, and I haven't seen the RA's we got to help. So I donno what the aftermath was, but I hope we saved someones life!! It was really scary though, not gonna lie. On a side note, there was another girl in the bathroom who was like "Uhh...Hello?" from a stall when the RA's asked if anyone else was in there. So that girl must have completely ignored that girls calls for help and maybe even stepped over her while she was passed out! What a bitch dude.

#VaBeach

Hah, well so much for posting every week. It's been a lot of fun lately with all the bored game playing and I find myself thinking about all the strategies I wanna use on a bunch of them. (And my car is back!!) Dan and Kit are gone on a bike riding trip for a week so I decided to give my brain a night off and just hang out at home. Me and mom have been watching Family Feud every time we eat together and it's really addicting. But I'm not talking about the new ones, we only TiVo the old ones from the 70's with Richard Dawson. He kisses every female contestant and some are all over him sometimes! You could never do that today... but Richard is the fucking man!

Anyways... this post is about Virginia Beach and Norfolk. I think all the time about how I miss it so much. It's so different and unique compared to up here. I don't know if it's the beach, or the city, or the college or what I find cool about it. I also don't know if it's because of college or because of the city, but I really think the city is a big part of why I like going back. I definitely feel like I want to live down there after college. (The housing being a lot cheaper in definitely a bonus) But I don't know... it just doesn't have all the crap we have up here: millions of buildings, nothing to do, people walking around with there no-life 100k+ jobs, uptight rules, cocky Reston'ers... so I think it's cool LAMATB at least tries to go there every year. :P Norfolk is also getting a United Football League team! It's not the NFL but I'll add it on the list of things to do. Everything just seems more laid back and it has all the important places we have with an endless supply of fried chicken joints on top! XD

But yeah, we all need to live there someday. I know Dan and Andrew have talked about getting an apartment in Northern VA and I've always considered joining them, but I feel like the sea is calling me haha! Well I guess we can only see where life takes us. Until next time.

Blown Up

Mannnn, I can't believe how quick stuff can turn around. I've been hit with so much sad news lately it blows. My friends at Old Navy are all leaving and it's making it harder for me to want to come back... but the funny thing is almost all of them found a new job in the same mall. Yankee Candle, Crazy 8, Abicrombie & Fitch, and Finish Line. Crazy right? Maybe I should try and get another job at the mall cause I really like working there in general. It's the worst because although they treat me nice, they treat the last sane manager we have left like shit. He is one of the nicest dudes I know and he's way underpaid, like he barely makes more then me and does like 3 times the work. All the other managers can come and cut themselves whenever they like, but they don't let him do anything. I think they know everyone likes him and they're holding on his yearly review on purpose because I think they know he's about to cut himself for good.

Meanwhile, all of my friends back here and I all seem to be having trouble. In school, relationships, with each other, damn it's depressing. I feel like I know exactly what should happen but it's not going too. At first I was thinking I was going to go for what I want to happen. But maybe the world is supposed to balance it's self out so I'm just gonna let everyone get on with what they're doing. We need a damn vacation!

Forgotten Words

Well my parents are out of town and Andrews still on the way home from dinner with his family so I'm bored enough to write another post this summer! Honestly though, this summer has been a lot more of a blast then I thought it would be. I think I said that last summer too, but I think I like this summer even more. So much has gone on:

-Everything's legit back at Old Navy and I got a raise!
-Ticket To Ride has kept the bored game train alive (lol)
-Andrews gotten a few of us back into Guild Wars and I got 2 new expansions for 10 bucks, we also play Lost Planet 2
-Lori got me into a $5 DS game called Elebits and brought Monkey Majik back onto the scene (although my favorite song to sing along with of all the songs she's showed me is this one.)
-Jessica visited me at Herndon and we went all around town and into DC
-Nintendo's E3 has prepared me to put aside 300 bucks (hah, sorry beach trip)
-We tried the new Chic-fel-a spicy chicken sandwich... and I wouldn't get it again... too hot xD

And that's all I can remember for now. But the reason this post is called "Forgotten Words" is because sometime back in July 2009, I decided to attempt to rap a song. I found all the lyrics I wrote and after reading them I'm glad I didn't go through with it. Maybe I should just stick to another singing project this summer! Anyways before I put up my uhh... EMBARRASSING lyrics, let me tell you a little about the song. The beat is from a song called "Wanna get to know ya" by G-Unit and has it's own built in chorus that says "I wanna be your lover, etc ,etc." So I made 3 verses into the 3 scenarios of trying to get to know you: me at school, me out of school, and me at a frat party. Enjoy, but try hard not to laugh at me ok? XD And here's the beat. (Sorry theres no cuts like in facebook so this is a really long post)

The Return

I can't believe it... I'm back in Herndon. I've abandoned this blog for so long but I'm going to write in it again anyway. I always usually come back dreading the summer because I always have such a good time at college and I do not want to work. I'm gonna miss(some of these only happened a few times but it sounds badass in a list)the girlfriend, the football games, the drinking, my college buddies, the Poker, the sex, the video games, and the good grades. Hell, I even miss my classes a little bit. The things I wont miss are: my formspring account, constantly smelling my friends cigarette smoke, and my biology class. But I am gonna try and be really optimistic about this summer. I got my job back, we got the annual VA beach trip in August, and Jessica is even gonna visit Herndon for the first time. I'm trying to go all out this summer so you guys better make it happen! (kidding) It will be interesting to see if anyone's changed. I can't wait to see all my friends up in Herndon for a while and I can't wait to go back!

Back from the Dead

I'm bring my blog back from the dead and I'm feeling on top of the world! Well, I say I'm bringing it back, but I'll probably just forget about it again until something really interesting happens or if I'm not lazy to type something so long. Anyways, things have been great. I got everything I wanted for Christmas and had fun ringing in the new years with my friends. I'm so pressed on the Nintendo DSi I got I can't even tell you.

Mostly though, I've just been working, sleeping, and playing DS. Which is fine with me. I find college is more fun when you have a lot of money so that's basically my primary objective when I come back for Christmas break. I've gotten so many new friends lately, and I also seem to be doing a good job at turning off girls that like me. Which is fine because I already have a great one. And I guess I've always had this "if you don't like me - forget you", philosophy about life. But I can't wait to go back because Jessica got me Mario Party DS AND Super Mario 64 DS for Christmas! So excited to play those, and it should go nicely with the GTA: Chinatown Wars and Mario Kart DS I already have. So in return I got her a really nice purse/handbag that I can't wait to show her.

I hope everyone had a great new years and I'm sorry that my life has continued to get more boring and real adult as I get older(aside from playing on a handheld for kids). But I promise to keep this up more, even if all I ever do is go to class or go to work. :P Catch you on the flip side,

Fast Forward

Damn, so much has been going on lately. It's hard to keep up!

First off, I need to get my tires fixed if I'm trying to come up in a few weekends. I'll be in Herndon the 13th-15th to see a football game on Sunday, then I'll be back again the Wednesday after that for Thanksgiving.

School has been good, I got my progress report grades and I have A's in 4 of my classes but... something else in my math class. xD

I won the schools homecoming Poker tournament which was so much fun. After like 70people, 3 hours, and 100+ hands, I finally won! I got a bunch stuff: A ODU water bottle, an ODU umbrella, a ODU football tshirt, a ODU homecoming tshirt, 2 free tickets to the homecoming concert, a poker set, and a black table and chairs.

I went to the doctors with a painful spot on my chest. Turns out I had a Cyst, but with the medicine it mostly went away so it looks like I won't have to cut it off.

Jessica and I went to the Zoo today and we got an awesome close view of the Lion. I wish she could come with me to the homecoming concert tomorrow night but shes working. :/ I'm sure it will be fun with my friend Jen but it's not the same!

I like Twitter a lot. It's also gotten me into Facebook again a little bit too. I really like the fact that just the legit people have Twitter.

Finally, if you haven't already heard, the monopoly game was a total fail. I never want to try it again, and to be honest, the Jewishness(no offence j9) of the Monopoly game + the ridiculous late night menu have disgusted me with McDonalds. $1 Double Cheeseburger at BK you officially win! I seriously can't wait to be free the awful meal plan at ODU next year, where everything closes at 8, so I can start getting my own stuff and eating healthy. xD
