Yep...

Sigh... I don't know whats up with me right now. I'm in one of those moods where I feel like I have a lot of problems right now, but maybe I actually do.

I went to court and have to do community service and a 1 day for hour class to get in off my record, then on top of that I have a 6 month licence suspension and I have to visit a Parole Officer once a month.

So now, I don't have a car at ODU. And I went to the 2nd floor of our main building to find community service, but they wouldn't give it to me. Apparently, they only want people who want to do community service, not those that have too. So fuck them, that's so dumb. They redirected me to a lady at Judicial Affairs which deals with people like me trying to find community service. But... shes out today so I have to wait till tomorrow.

Jessica wrote on her blog the other day about music and how listening to it was a big part of her life. It reminded me of how it used to be a big part of mine. I definitely want to see if I still have it, and looking back at old music I used to sing. I'm kinda upset I haven't kept up with that either.

But there are other problems stirring in my head that I don't really know how to handle or bring up. But I will eventually for the good of anyone involved of course. I guess I just didn't have what I thought, and everything seems to be getting me down. Ahh well, here's hoping for a better tomorrow! Looks like its time for my first visit to fmylife.com. Sike!!

Whats good, Yo?

Sweet and Simple, here are some stories about what I have been up too lately:

The other day our apartment complex had a fire drill. They were going through all the rooms because if you didn't leave during the fire drill you got fined. However, when we got back to our room one of the RA's pulled David and I aside with our other roommate. (We have 4 people total, our other roommate is just never there) They put us in a room and closed the door so we got really worried. But all they said was that they found an illegal knife(because it was too big) belonging to our roommate, and that our apartment is too messy. They said they were going to give us 24 hours to remove the knife and clean our place. 90% of the mess was our roommates, and he had to get a friend to help him clean because he had so much crap everywhere. David and I didn't have much to do but we said screw it! And gave the apartment a whole new clean over. Vacuumed the floors, cleaned the bathrooms, threw out all the trash, dusted our desks, etc. But they never showed up to check our room.

I've been going through major Persona 4 withdrawals. I accidentally left my PS2 at home before I came back and I really really want to play. I like the music also and the game comes with the soundtrack! But I left that at home too. Luckily a few of the good ones are on YouTube.

I went to a "Sex & Sundaes" event for our school, where if you answered questions about safe sex, you get a free sundae. Our school has been doing events like this all week for Valentines Day. However, when I took some free condoms there like the other guys to make it look like I actually had some use for them, I saw a handout that was really funny. It was titled "101 ways to make love without doing it" and included things like "Go to the library", "Find out what makes each other sad", "touch each other in a special way", and "Give each other pet names". I wish I could put the whole list on here, because most of them were quite hilarious. And as if that wasn't enough, one of the tables had two wooden penises that you could take off and put on condoms. I stayed clear from that table. xD

We're not allowed to have candles in our apartment, but I've been lighting one in here anyways. It makes the room feel 10x more chill. You should try it! It's weird but it makes a really nice difference.

My roommate and I went to that food panel thing and told them what food we wanted, but it seemed like they were most interested in how to make people go to the cafe more and they asked us what kinda stuff we wanted to see in the cafe(like TV's or something). We stressed to them that if they really wanted us to go more, that they had to stay open later then 8pm. That is the most ridiculous food campus closing hour I've ever seen at any college. I hope they listened.

Food Panel

I registered my roommate and I for an RSVP discussion group in which we talk about what kind of food we want to see at the cafeteria next to us next year. I signed up for this because A) the food we have now kinda sucks and B) I figured people who want to see healthier foods would be the only ones interested in signing up. I'm going there to counter them and bring the good stuff back!

Here's what I'm thinking of what they've served so far:
Pros:
-Chicken Nuggets
-Cheeseburgers
-Cobblers/Pies
-Fried Chicken
-Tater Tots
-Turkey/Mashed Potatoes
-Roast Beef/Corn
-Pizza
-Sandwich/Taco Bar
-Ice Cream Bar
Cons:
-Breakfast for dinner
-Cafeteria Ribs
-Fish
-Usually undercooked fries
-Meatloaf
-Random foods that look fancy and add diversity but taste like crap
-Salads
-Healthy/Vegetarian Crap
-Scrambled Eggs with Cheese/Grits
-Grilled Cheese

Haha and on top of the Pros, I'd like to see them add "Popcorn Chicken" to that category next year. Anything you guys think needs to be added to the lists?

Whats Real?

Since I am really into blog's at all that type of stuff, I enjoy finding and reading others as well. But usually, I never find anyone who talks about something besides events that happen during their day or Quizzes. One friend that does write about things beside the normal wrote a Note on Facebook that simply said: So am I lame for writing these? Or am I real for being me?

I think he's real. When you write blog posts about emotion or other things that mean a lot to you, you find a lot of fakers. Because pretty much everyone understands or knows what you mean, but not a lot of people will admit to that. They say stuff like "why would he put that on the internet?" Like there's some kind of society normal as to what you can put on the Internet, when really, it's completely the opposite. (See YouTube, Porn) I say respect others opinions and don't pretend shit isn't real. I'm interested, what do you guys think about people who post blogs on a personal level? Would you ever write one?

Ghost Story

So I'm not gonna lie, I sort of do believe in the paranormal, but I never thought it would happen to me. I wasn't going to mention it at first, but since it has continued, I have to write about it.

In our room, my roommate and I have heard a girls scream from our window. And it's like a shrilling "I'm getting killed" scream. But it's really quiet. Sometimes you hear it in the afternoon, but it's mostly during the week between midnight and 1am. It sounds like the same girl, but sometimes the screams are different length but it always sounds like they are in the distance. We think that it happens too often and at the same volume to be coincidence. I wonder what that sound is... and what that girl wants if shes real!? It does get a little scary.

Also, my alarm clock that's set up right next to the same window can't recieve any radio channels. It makes the appropriate fuzz sound in between channels, but it just makes a really weird/annoying high pitch sound when you reach anywhere that would be a station. Sometimes you get faint talking around 104FM but that's it. We tried unplugging things around it to see if they were causing the interference but still nothing.

What does this ghost want from us? I'm trying to set my alarm clock so I can wake up on time! We'll just have to see what's revealed so we can lay this ghost to rest..... hopefully.

Potbelly is Downhill.

So on Saturday, all employees of Potbelly are required to go to a mandatory meeting due to "changes in the company". However, I know some people on the inside who have already discussed with me some of the things that will be talked about at the meeting... and it's not looking good for us. After hearing this, I definitely don't plan on returning there for the summer.

Change 1: Sandwiches will be raised from 4.19 to 5 bucks.
This is an awful idea. Our sub rolls are approx 8 inches, so why get one at Potbelly when you can get one almost twice as big for the same price at Subway? But I feel like it wont effect our store that much. Because even with the price raise, we are still the closest and cheapest place to eat in Reston Town Center, we're kinda just taking advantage of that. And ours still taste better.

Change 2: The price of the PB&J sandwich will be lowered to under 4 dollars.
This makes sense, because who wants a PB&J when they can make one at home? Almost no one gets them, so this might help that. The only problem is, the fact that all our sandwiches were the same price made it pretty easy, so now our simple menu board is going to get scrambled with the different prices.

Change 3: Employees no longer get a free meal, and Manager Meals now get downgraded to the Employee Meal deal of 6 bucks per meal.
What the hell! This is the first store I've heard of where regular employees get no discount at all. What are we supposed to do during brakes? Sit there? Use an hours pay a day for a sandwich and a drink? I feel bad for the managers too. Because after the sandwiches hit 5 bucks, 6 bucks wont get them anything but that. People might have to start bringing there own lunches/dinners to work. I'll be interested to see what the people at the meeting who are hearing this for the first time have to say! And I'm sure employees who have worked there for a while will be able to sneak out with a sandwich anyways.

So that's all I know for now, it will be interesting to see if there are any additional changes after the meeting... but it looks like Potbelly is starting to go downhill with the other sandwich companies.

Goodbye Wii

So it's been a tough year for me when it comes to next gen gaming. I've played by N64 this whole time at college, because Wii has no good games, and even I am a bit tired of Smash Bros. after over 2,000 matches. I waited, and waited, and waited. But there is simply nothing playable. The new MarioKart and Mario Party are a load of trash, they ruined Paper Mario completely by making it a platformer, and developers think only 8 or 80 year olds own the Wii so they constantly give us games like "Jenga" and "Sudoku" instead of anything real. And I can't stand it anymore. I don't want the Wii to ruin my impression of Nintendo so I'm getting rid of it. I have 4 options:

1. Give it away
2. Put it on Ebay to see what I can get
3. Sell it all to my Parents for 250(they offered, so they can re-gift it)
4. Destroy it

And I chose option number 3. I'm either putting the money towards college activities or saving it for a PS3.
You will be dearly missed Wii. And Nintendo, the next time you come out with a console... please don't screw it up.
